Dave Dixey's 1967 Tempest
I have had this car for almost 10 years. It started off as a 326 with an ST300 2 speed. After the 2008 regionals, I was driving her home and the gears were slipping so badly that we almost didn't make it home!! I swapped that out for a TH350 and she was awakened!. Then I said the heck with it. Pulled the 406 freshened her up pulled the TH350 and dropped in a 4 speed!!! Man night and day driving her now.!!! Yeah, I have been seen driving with out a hood. Speaking of hood, check out the poor mans hood tach!!
